Think i went to the park the wrong time of day Tongue they were all taking to the trees for their afternoon siesta.
Zoom maxed out and majorly cropped to get as much of his furryness in as possible.
Have included the original as a mod.

Lovely creature nicely captured but I feel that there is a lot that can be done to lift this image and present it a little better, hence my two mods.

Morning Kathryn.... I like Lynne's mod.

In your image cropping tight to loose the branch has lost the last bit of the all important fluffy tail. You have nice focus on the eyes and fur and plenty of character.

Well done.

Morning Kathryn,

A good capture again and you did well to get it looking at you, most of the time is they see a camera they run round to the other side if the tree Wink
I don't know if you've passed a warming filter over this image but it's starting to impersonate a Red Squirrel so I've removed that ,sorry. Also I found the top branch a little distracting so I've cloned it out and by using exposure adjustment I've lightened the face a little.

Take care

Martin

I love the mod Martin, i just didn't know where to start with trying to remove a good part of the branches. Looks fabulous how you've done it, thankyou.

Morning Kathryn,

I used the clone tool, If you look at the tail for example with the clone tool place it between the head and branch and while holding down the "Alt" button click to select that area as a starting point to copy from. Now let go of everything and move the tool up close to the branch then while holdinding down the left button on your mouse slide it over the branch using it like a brush. When you come to fill in the white sky click on an area that you want to copy an so on. Kathryn have a play, as long as it's on a copy you have nothing to loose. If your still not sure go to the tutorials and there will be a video you can follow, the great thing about this is you can pause the video and make the adjustments, if you get it wrong just rewind and start again. There are tutorials on EPZ but my choice is youtube where you will find a tutorial for anything you want to do.

Hope this is helpful

Take care

Martin
