Apologies I haven't been around for a while. Work and then four rain-soaked days in the lake District. I'll be lucky if I have three images! Here's one from a few weeks ago on home turf. I'll try to catch up with everyone's pposts asap.

I like the feeling I'm standing on the edge here watching that stream flowing past. Nice movement in the water and some lovely autumnal colour.

Thanks a lot. it was amazing how the light was changing between shots and neccessity required a foliage frame as I was unable to get down to river level on this side. I increased ISO to 400 to try and reduce white out and foliage blur.

Well controlled exposure to give just enough detail in the water with that wonderful depth of field. Love the slight movement in the vegetation too.

Thanks guys and to Pete for the HC. The wife has just told me she doesn't like it because the water forms a creepy face looking down into the bottom rh corner! What can I say? Cheeky devil..... :0)
