Striking definition on the feathers, although it might be a little bit oversharpened giving it a slightly unreal look. Nice photo nevertheless!

This has a fantastic feel to it and detail.
Superb angle and pose, as much as I hate cloning, it might be worth a look at cloning just the end of the perch as it comes out of the Pelican.

i must admit richard i did think the same but because you can see branch at the front of the photo the bit at the back was a continuation i will clone it out and see thanks for comment -ray
