A wonderful time of day, Anthony, which has turned the beach to gold and red, reflecting from the sky. The format and central horizon work well here, and I especially like the reflection of the pier.
I'm with Mark on this one, Ant, prefer the more subtle tones of the original, just needs the foreground lifting a little.

Excellent image, Ant. For me V2 is clearly in need of processing but your processed shot has maybe lost some of the subtle tones present in the original, particularly in the sky. Somewhere between the two would work for me although as it stands it's still an excellent image.
