Literally the first photo that I took on my trip to Scilly a few weeks ago. And, yes, that it really what it's called Grin

It was established in 1911 on St Mary's when it superseded the lighthouse on St Agnes which had been in operation since 1680.

Lovely mono Mr M. with the lighter tones leading towards the lighthouse. It's a great name eh? It would mean 'the head of the Island or Island Headland' ' in the Brythonic tongue from which Cornish, Welsh and Breton were derived. Modern Welsh would be, Pen yr ynys - almost as bad Grin
