Busy day but I did find some very sensibly priced Peonies today - 2.50 a bunch - bargain Smile

Not sure about that bud in the middle but I refuse to chop it off. I'll wait for the other flowers to open up a bit and try again without the bud.

Peonies are fab aren't they? Lovely framing, and who cares about the shy bud. It'll get there in the end. Smile

Thanks everyone - I'm currently favouring V2 at the moment - I wonder which I'll prefer tomorrow?

Must admit that I chose the vase for the bendy qualities. I put them in several vases until I got to this one and there they stayed Smile

They're great flowers though - I absolutely refused to pay the price in M&S so am rather chuffed that I found some today - I must take lots of pics whilst I've got them!

That said, I have been looking at a certain auction site for gas-masks this evening Smile

Added a quick mod to bring back the pink colour of the flowers.

Steve.

Thanks again everyone and thanks for the mod Steve - good move that and I'll adjust the large version accordingly Smile

Oh very out of character Keith - well the character that you're familiar with. Years and years of flower taking can't quite be knocked out of my system - nice to do that kind of stuff still when I find a decent subject.

It'll be another boring flowery one this evening I expect - way way too warm to day to prat about dressing up!
