Please take my comments with a grain of salt, I am not an expert on flower photography. Two points come to mind: Should the flower be placed smack in the middle? Would it not be better to follow one of the golden rules available, it would place the centre slightly to the side; working on the midtones, either in PS or LR, might improve the flower's centre. It seems to work, I tried it with an overlay layer followed by a High Pass filter. Since you work in RAW, you can achieve the same thing with the Clarity tool. Cheers,
