PEONY PROFILE......One from earlier in the summer. Just playing around with this image in Corel. Weather is not condusive for photography this weekend I am afraid. Forecast was for 97' with sunshine and mind breezes. (Not ideal for photography either I realize) but instead we have had torrential downpours of rain, earshattering thunder and horrendous lightning strikes. All is calm at the moment but more is headed this way. Not the weekend I had planned at all.

Sorry about the "clickx" minus comments. I have tried to catch up, really I have. If I have time I love to leave a comment because I know how much I enjoy getting them but unfortunately time does not always allow.

To make matters worse I have two house dogs who are terrified of storms and are constantly underfoot before the storm even gets close. Change in barometric pressure I suppose. I have tried everything to comfort them but nothing works. I have heard of an item called Thunder SHirts which I am in search of. Went to the pet store yesterday only to be told they must be ordered on line.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Thanks for all the previous votes and comments on my young Whitetail Deer series,

Thanks for looking,
God bless,
Patti

A beautiful paeony, Patti, and very well presented, particularly like V.1. Sorry to hear of your appalling weather, do hope it improves soon. Carol

How beautiful. I love white flowers and those touches of steely blue on the tips of the frilly petals is lovely.
Poor dogs, don't you wish they could just understand you for just a few minutes sometimes so that you could let them know whats going on. Then switch them off again of course. Smile

Do like what you have done to the shot Patti. I like the presentation in V1. My poor mutt is terrified at thunder too and we have it forecast for this afternoon Sad. Moira

I like the way you have presented this, so soft and delicate, and prefer seeing the white frame around it.
I remember so well how much my dogs hated thunder storms. I once tried calming tablets, which you can use if a dog doesn't like travelling, and the like, but you need to know that a thunder storm is coming. I used to turn the TV or music up loud to drown the noise of the thunder. When my eldest dog became very deaf, the problem disappearedGrin !

V1 for me. Great floral image presented so well.

Two of our Jack Russells were terrified by thunder and lightning. ALways hid in the deep dark depth of George's office cupboard until it was over!

Very nice Patti. V2 definitely wins for me. The strong white boarder in V1 is too distracting.
