The Peonies in our garden are so beautiful but the weather is doing its best to devastate them. My husband has tied them to a stake but the rain is still battering down on them. I took some images a few days ago and worked a little magic on them. V1 is a composite of several of the flower heads, with Vs 2 and 3 the same flower but with a different background/texture. Hope you approve.
Thanks to you all for your comments on my holiday "snaps", very much appreciated.
Have a good weekend!
Carol

Fine peones, beautifully captured: not so sure about V 1 with the patterning across the centre of the middle flower, but I do like V 2 and 3......the flower the main star amongst so many: I think possibly V 2 is just ahead for me, Carol.
Ronnie.
(PS. I see you have just commented on my today's shot, Carol, and I'm afraid the wind and rain brought down one or two of ours, but I brought them indoors and one will be the subject of tomorrow's posting, taken in my kitchen sink studio, of course........R)
I do like v1 but maybe without the stippled effect in the centre, followed closely by v2. Great work again, Carol.
Dave
V3 is the star of the show (sorry, couldn't resist)!
Go for V3 Carol.
It reminds me of my formica kitchen table top I had back in the 70's.
And V2 was my table top after I spilled all my Andrews Liver Salts on it trying to get rid of my hangover.
And V1 was my kitchens net curtains after I mopped up the Andrews Liver Salts I spilt on the table !!
Mick.
V3 for me the darker background helps show of the rose much better and what a fine one it is
