Fabulous shot here.

The RED can't get more redder than it is.

I love it.

Bravo

Very nice work, Stephen, and the red pepper against the black background is quite striking.
You have presented this beautifully, but I can see horizontal stripes in the outer frame, as the black graduates to grey, which is more visible when viewing large, and even more so once downloaded to my editing programme.
That's only a tiny niggle, and I have another small one. The droplet on the far right, the one outside of the frame, is obviously cloned from the one at the top of that group, and is also less bright. It may well be that nobody else will notice thisGrin.
I have done a modification where I removed yours and grabbed one from elsewhere in the image, one that was further away, and taken from the centre of an elongated splash, so that the cloning isn't so obvious. The quality deteriorates after moving and rotating, so I simply gave it a sharpen.
Pamela.

Very good effort Stephen.

God observations by Pamela. I will add, - the colour balance if too cool, making the black background, and the water drops have a bluish tint, which also diminishes the vibrant red of the pepper.

The outer border isnt black, looks like you intended it to be different, and might have applied a drop shadow, thats not working well with the darl border. This can look better with a black border.

I would also not continue your stroke line through the water at the top, - leave it blank, - its a way for water to enter; and I dont think you really need the drop outside to make this work. Pamela has addressed getting this right, - when cloning it looks like you took some dark background with you and caused a shadow on the border line.

So these are the small but important details you need to focus on to make this a winner, as it can certainly be.

Hope this is helpful, and the mod works for you,

Regards

Willie

Must be my tablet screen. All looks black to me. I would usually not like the frame, but this really does work very well.I like it as is.
