One from a highly enjoyable evening last week. Probably got half a dozen half decent images from the trip

as above regards light / tones but personally i think a slightly different composition may hvae strengthened the image - difficult to do after the event but perhaps a crop of the right hand side (as that background shore does little for the image) so that the main subject now is situated on or around the right hand vertical third?

may not work but would be nice to see it without placing a book in front of my screen Wink

Like this one?

For this composition I used the double chanels to lead the eye to the Lighthouse. I liked the way they both arced towards the lighthouse. There is little on the LHS apart for some man made boulders so a bit limited.

Superb lighting, and I love the reflection of the tip of the lighthouse in the pool. I definitely prefer the 'Like this one?' version though - the composition so much stronger. Even though this landscape version is lovely, the portrait version just stands out so much more on all levels.
