Lovely photograph, I like the colours and the light. However, just to be pedantic, I think it is a perennial sweet pea, yes, but the climbing sort, Lathyrus latifolius. I don't think it's lathyrus vernus, which is much smaller-flowered (either pink/white or blue/purple), non-climbing and flowers much earlier. Mine are close to it now.
