What a gorgeous image - the details you've caught on the Peacock is gorgeous. I love the colours, with the green as a background - perfect.

Lovely image of the Peacock butterfly. I have offered a slight alteration (modification 3 above) for your consideration. The original is however a most attractive shot of a most attractive subject. Well captured.
Ronnie.

Nice shot and well done. You used a 70/200 and no technical details. I suspect depth of field is minimal. If i were to be very critical, the left wing is sharper than the right - just a bit. On a very flat subject like this, that really does mean a shallow field. Possibly a couple of stops less.

Hello Joan and a warm welcome to EPZ.

Lovely butterfly. As others have said already you have captured the colour and the details of the butterfly very well. As the butterfly has its wings flat this has enabled you to get good depth of field. However the shot does look slightly soft - it is not pin sharp, particularly round the edges. This may be due to the uploading process. It is best to sharpen your image, do the preparation for uploading to the site and then do a second bit of sharpening, so you get a nice clean image. I have uploaded a mod for you where I have applied a bit more sharpening.

Anyway, good work.

Best wishes

Catherine
