Keeping oneself clean can be vital to your survival, even on the harvestman, who relies on those incredibly long legs to ensure they can get around fast to capture food, and evade being captured. Having clean legs means that you are in tip top condition for the chase.
Here you see one such harvestman in the process of cleaning one of it's forelegs.
