A hanging basket of petunias we have in the garden, the photo does not do it true justice as the shade of purple is much more intense, I've tried a few times (different light and time) for some reason either I, or the camera, can never get it right.

Technical: f5 @ 1/100, 36mm. ISO 160

Camera:Olympus E-500

The colour may not be quite what you wanted to get, but it is still beautiful.

Purple is a difficult color I think. An overcast but bright day sometimes works well. In any event, this is gorgeous. My compliments to the gardener.

WOW! What a wonderful sight....the colour is amazing and yet you say it still isn't quite right!. I'd be over the moon with a photo and a hanging basket like this! Great shot.

Sorry for not always commenting on the photos. Here at Qatar Airways they believe a pilot should fly maximum hours. I would love more time on ePz and making comments. Sometimes I do, mostly I don't. All depends on the time I have. Have a splendid day!

A fabulous framefiller Jim, delighted to be no 30 for this one. I've plenty just like these in tubs in my back garden, miraculously they've managed to survive all the wind and rain we've been having

That's a stunning basket. I've given up growing them as the rain really ruins them. So glad I didn't bother this year.
