A female Pheasant during the rain !

I spent the whole day hoping to bag some Jay's, but alas empty handed.....!! Managed to get a female Pheasant instead Tongue

As pheasants go, this is a cracker Dean!! Such great feather plumage detail - the rain on the feathers is like jewels! Great background - so worth the effort! John SmileSmile

I think I prefer this to a shot of a male pheasant. Love the detail - in the bracken too - and great background.
