Evening All - - Happy Tuesday.

Only 3 more days to my enforced retirement! (Determined to keep smiling tho' - - at least I'll have some time to catch up with everyone in EPZ land!)

Here's another from the meet at the weekend, showing the split footpath at the top of Higger Tor. I liked big clumping footprints in the sprinkling of snow and the light catching rocks, heather and posts, but didn't like the sky - - so I cropped it out! Wink

I'm sure you will let me have your opinion! Wink

Thanks for looking - - off out to play bridge tonight - - catch up later

Looks good Fran.. it certainly works to concentrate on the ground rather than the sky.

Can feel the chill! The foreground is enough to allow for the cropped sky. IMHO Smile

Kath

Looks good Fran, it was fantastic light though!

I thought the grainy little snow granules scattered around when we arrived gave a nice touch to proceedings! even if that meant it was b****y cold!! well captured here... and can I see the clouds disappearing over the horizon?

Great lead and fine detailed colour Fran.

Dougie

I like those disappearing posts... and the curve of the path, brought into relief by the sprinkling of snow and the side-light... Must get up to Higger... Carol

A fine low angle composition, Fran, with so much detail to enjoy in the frosted foreground. I'm so sorry to hear about your enforced retirement. Many people here talk of fate and how good things often come out of bad, and I'm sure they're right.
