Thank you for c'c on the two Hippo's comming to blows - no punn intended 
On our way into the Kruger we cross the Crocodile river and it is always worth a stop and browse before you go through the gate at Malelane and this was no exeption to the rule - we were entertained by the Pied Kingfishers actively hunting - the challenge then was to capture them in flight/hover and this is one of my attempts - gray

good shot but those whites are close to over exposure, sorry to mention
Well captured Graham, last time I saw these was on the river Nile a few years ago, a beautiful bird to watch. From my own experience they hover quite high like this and at a distance so you did well here,
