Thank you for looking at my image.

This is an image I have posted before, but I decided to re-work it, by giving it a bit of an old mono look hopefully that has improving it.

The hut is on the pier at Santa Barbara in California which we were lucky enough to visit this time last year. Let me know what you think.

Thanks again.

Mary

I had to trawl back quite a way in your portfolio, Mary, but I found the original, which I prefer. I tried a little experiment, took the original, cropped to square, taking most off the bottom, as the buoys are your subject, then gave it a few tweaks and I now like it even more.
The floats have some interesting colours in them, so I would be inclined to make the most of them.
It looks like the floats were in the shade, and brightening the original did reveal some grain, so I feel you may have gone for sepia as a compromise. But for me, it blends them too much into the background.
I'm still going to vote because I like the image.
