I was really surprised by the number of comments on my last photo, and I thank everyone for the critique! Anyways, I happen to love taking black and white photos of animals, it just has a different feel to it somehow...I took this photo near a river where a lone Pigeon was hanging around, so I tried to get cose to it and managed to get a good close up! x)

When using black and white the details tend to really stand out, but I do miss colour sometimes - for instance, I bet its eye was a gorgeous colour! Smile You've captured it brilliantly, the eye is wonderfully sharp (just as it should be!).
