Pine trees, forest floor ferns and backlighting.....all the ingredients for a great shot, and that is how I would describe this one. So it's a +++ from me, Richard.

I think You've nailed this, Richard; the exposure is very well controlled indeed. Is this made from combined exposures or was it all carefully controlled in-camera?

Just one shot Michael, I found it difficult to get in the right spot to get that flare to work though!

It works Richard, tho I would like to see it in mono, then it would concentrate the attention on the highlights and shadows, which IMHO is what this image is about. (You could really bring out some of the FG details in the ferns)

Not really a fan of flare, but this does work for me. A shame there wasn't a bit more mist that the light could shine through, but a fine image all the same. Good to see you keeping up the standard of top titles!! Wink
