Good Evening All

I havn't been around very much lately, been working long days again Sad But tonight I thought I would visit my favourite site to try and catch up with you all, and upload a picture Grin

This was taken at the end of last summer in the beautiful gardens of Leeds Castle, another favourite of mine Wink I don't know what this flower is called, but when I look at it the markings strongly remind me of Panda's, and my favourite colour is Pink........and there we have it!!! It is a beautiful little flower, and I love the way that the petals have that crushed look. I have cropped it close, slightly enhanced the colour and apart from that it is straight from the camera.

Thank you for your votes and comments on my last upload "Popping Out", all of which are very much appreciated Grin

Hope you are all having a good week , halfway through, and soon be the end of the month GrinGrin

Take care out there, and as ever thank you for taking the time to look.

Love
Julie xx

It's the flower of a Cistus. CarolG has them growing wild all over the island, lucky thing!! Love their tissue paper-like petals. You captured that texture splendidly as well as the lovely inner details and all the colours.

The frame is filled with lovely detail and colour. Like Ann (EAS) I like the paper-like petals.
Joan.

Wonderful presentation and the delicate pedals are so evident by the "textures and wrinkles".

I see Ann has identified the flower for you: glad she could as I couldn't!
You have captured the colours and the papery crumpled texture of the petals very well.
Lovely frame filling shot.
Ronnie.

Great shot Julie, nice to see you posting but I am very aware how much work can get in the way.

Pretty little capture flower, I see you've got the proper name but I do like the 'panda' name instead.
