I quick upload from todays Blenheim Horse Trials and European Championships.

The photo shows Pippa Funnell on Ensign, she is currently in Silver Medal Position (behind Zara Phillip) with the last phase tomorrow. I have to say it was one wet... wet day!!!

Didn't take as many photos as I would normally do as it quite literally POURED with rain as times and I was trying to keep myself and camera dry! (So none of Zara).

Anyhow I hope you enjoy the picture and I appreciate all you comments.

This is great Hannah, glad to see you've got back out at the events with your camera. Nice and sharp with good timing over the fence. Shame you couldn't get a shallower depth of field to blur the spectators a little bit more. Also I'd crop or clone out the log bottom left corner. This is the first year I've missed Bleheim in ages and its where I first took eventing photos. Well done.

Thanks for you comments Michael, I have to agree with you but I took the photo as the lowest apperture I could with the lens i have. I have blurred and desaturated the spectators a little in elements to try to make them less disracting. Unfortunatly I don't have the lens you have Wink a bad tradesman blames his tools

Its certainly no criticism, I know there is nothing you can do about it. Even with my lens I probably wouldn't have made loads of difference as the crowd is so close. Hope Zara can go all the way, as I have competed against her a few times!
