Last three from the Floriade Flower Festival. Standard fare. I was going to lead with v2 but couldn't think of a suitable title!

v1 - the Pitcher plant

v2 - A Passion Flower

v3 - the carpet of flowers that adorned the verges in the coach park!

Many thanks for the comments on my 'Oddities' although I'm not sure why you kept picking on my knees - that's what I used to do with my scabs there when I was a kid!

Iso I think was 200 on these, standard settings, hand held with no flash.

Well there seem to be a great number of meadow flowers uploaded recently and v3 is about as varied in colour as they come Smile
I'm not greatly enamoured with the shape of v1- but its a lovely capture
Its v2 that gets my vote, which looks like a blue Catherine Wheel to me

All so different each from the other and all beautifully captured. The details in V1 and V2 are excellent but after considerable thought, I'm going for V3. What a glorious sight!

A rather exquisite trio of so richly colourful images, superb detail, and so very well composed and captured, certainly three to be admired. The photograph depicting the Pitcher Plant brought back many memories of working in Borneo, and Papa New Guinea, stunning, and a great source of crisp cooling water.

Nice composition, signature sharpness in all three. V1 and 2, I may have been tempted to blur the background slightly more or desaturate in PS or use a longer zoom lens at its longest focal length and at its widest aperture . Clearly there was limited room between the subject and the background. V3 is my favourite despite it recreates one of the many green areas within the Olympic Park where I have spent far too much time lol

The pitcher plant is attractive and unusual, Dave, and the blue passion flower is a delight. I have planted a blue one and am going to give it an arch to climb up in the next few days. The wildflower meadow is so beautiful, I haven't seen anything like this for years.

Ohhh...I LOVE pitchers and the one in V1 is a beaut. Sadly there were virtually none at this year's flower show. 2 years ago, there was an AWESOME pitcher plant display.

Speaking of awesome, your shot of the Passiflora in V2 is...well...wow.

Lovely mix of colours and flowers in V3.
