Last three from the Floriade Flower Festival. Standard fare. I was going to lead with v2 but couldn't think of a suitable title!
v1 - the Pitcher plant
v2 - A Passion Flower
v3 - the carpet of flowers that adorned the verges in the coach park!
Many thanks for the comments on my 'Oddities' although I'm not sure why you kept picking on my knees - that's what I used to do with my scabs there when I was a kid!
Iso I think was 200 on these, standard settings, hand held with no flash.

3 super images Dave, great detail and colour in all,
Fred.
Well there seem to be a great number of meadow flowers uploaded recently and v3 is about as varied in colour as they come ![]()
I'm not greatly enamoured with the shape of v1- but its a lovely capture
Its v2 that gets my vote, which looks like a blue Catherine Wheel to me
Helen
A rather exquisite trio of so richly colourful images, superb detail, and so very well composed and captured, certainly three to be admired. The photograph depicting the Pitcher Plant brought back many memories of working in Borneo, and Papa New Guinea, stunning, and a great source of crisp cooling water.
Regards Nathan
Think they are all superb captures enough to brighten the dullest day's, but V2 does stand out for me Dave, excellent set.
Regards
Trev.
All three captured well, good title good idea the detail as always is spot on as you would expect from you Dave, great work, well presented.
John
Superb set of images, wonderful colours and detail, by a very short head V2 is my favourite
Hugh
An unusual beast, V1, a vegetable tenor saxophone ![]()
I have to go for V3, a sight I would love to see in our 'garden' . . .
Regards
Bill
Dave, another great set, v1 and v2 are very nice with great colour and detail, but for some strange feeling I am very drawn to v3, perhaps all the fantastic colours in a way make you feel relaxed.........fantastic image to finish set.....
Paul.
What a great set ....
no favourites here ... but there could be some fun titles for V2 ...![]()
Great and interesting series of images.

Dave, a super set of images. I, personally, am impressed by the V2 as the central pieces of the flower are so carefully arranged by the nature and brilliantly presented by you. Deep
Three beauties here, Dave, each quite different, but each equally lovely...though I am rather biased towards V2....![]()

Not at all sure about v1 Dave (sorry but it's not my sort of thing - although Bill's description is very apt!
) but love v2 and especially v3!
Ann
Just had another look at it - it really does look quite rude!
It's got me chuckling now...
Nice composition, signature sharpness in all three. V1 and 2, I may have been tempted to blur the background slightly more or desaturate in PS or use a longer zoom lens at its longest focal length and at its widest aperture . Clearly there was limited room between the subject and the background. V3 is my favourite despite it recreates one of the many green areas within the Olympic Park where I have spent far too much time lol
A lovely trio with V3 for me. Such a large assortment of flowers making a fantastic display.
Well done. WesternRed.
Can't decide myself... But v1 is certainly the most e.x.otic one!
The pitcher plant is attractive and unusual, Dave, and the blue passion flower is a delight. I have planted a blue one and am going to give it an arch to climb up in the next few days. The wildflower meadow is so beautiful, I haven't seen anything like this for years.
Stunning detail on all three images Dave, excellent captures..Lin
I thought your V3 better than my flower spectacle could almost be the same field and for all I know it may well be
fantastic shot - love V2 for the clearly defined petals![]()
Ohhh...I LOVE pitchers and the one in V1 is a beaut. Sadly there were virtually none at this year's flower show. 2 years ago, there was an AWESOME pitcher plant display.
Speaking of awesome, your shot of the Passiflora in V2 is...well...wow.
Lovely mix of colours and flowers in V3.
Great upload, Dave ![]()
Andrew
Great variety.. And all beautifully captured.. V2 for the clarity & wonderful details captured..
V3 is a gorgeous splash of colour.. An artists palette..
Got in too late, all of the above. Inspirational.
Love it.
Regards.
Gavin
V2 the passion flower is my favourite, such marvellous colours and details you've captured in that one
