This is a rework of an earlier photo that I experimented on with exposure blending. The earlier one was too dark in the lower half whereas this one, I hope, is more balanced.

I'd appreciate your thoughts and comparisons too!

Hi Chris.

I know this is an old image, but I was immeadiately drawn to this one from your PF. The lead in line of the road takes you right into the picture, and straight to the sun coming through the clouds. I think I would have cloned out the post though, as it causes a slight disraction from the amazing light in the scene. You where in the right place at the right time with this one - well done.

Hi Nige, thanks for the comments. Yeah, I was in two minds whether or not to clone out the snow poles as they're an important part of the road in an area that can get quite snow-covered, but I agree they detract from the light scene behind them.

It was great to watch the scene unfold - can't wait to get back up to Scotland sometime.
