There's a wonderful patina on the brass dome that fits in the palm of your hand; that doesn't form in a couple of weeks. I'm guessing that is a block plane.
Some super textures and surfaces here again.
Chris

Great use of the detail and smooth lines of this workaday tool, but beautifully made. A grand fit for the hands of a skilled craftsman and a tool to be cherished for years not thrown in tool box.

This is so much more modern and mechanical than the older models, yet has a beauty in it's own right.

I just popped back and went in to your PF - the three of these lined up together make a fabulous visual Smile

Again you've managed to isolate part of a whole and make it into a wonderful abstract - the exposure on the metal is so good and shows a wonderful patina.
