Thought it time we had another mini planet, and struggling to find anything new until I go away next week for a few days, played around with this image taken on Llandudno Pier. I've done these before in Photoshop, but I recently downloaded an excellent photo editing App from iTunes for the iPhone / iPad called PhotoForge2. It has lots of editing features found in Photoshop, including Layers, and one of its special effects creates these mini planets, which I've used here and created on the iPad - and it's much quicker, easier and tidier than Photoshop too!
Single Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 4 and Photoshop Elements 11.
Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

I don't have an iPhone nor an IPad, but I have to say an image like this one could tempt me to think of buying one. ofcourse the effect is one thing. making it work int erms of colours, tones and content is another matter altogether. It is this that you have done so well here. .....Peter
What a fantastic idea, Trev. You have turned Llandudno Pier into a Zeppelin!
Although given the proximity of Burns' Night (January 25th) I can't help noticing a passing resemblance to a giant haggis ![]()

Great creation. From the thumbnail I thought it was looking down on to the top of a bottle.
Wow Trev, you are getting adventurous, and a good thing too - great image. If only Llandudno pier were as exciting in real life.
Don't know if you noticed, Trev, but the pensioners sitting on that bench bottom left have fallen off and disappeared...not surprising as they were upside down!![]()
Looks like a great fun tool to play around with, but you have to have the eye to take the right photo first.
Well done indeed.

Wow Trevor the thinks one can do these days. What a creation, show us something similar from Stratford upon Avon. Enjoy your break and mind how you go if it's snowy.
