Well after a outstanding month of selling my photographs and greetings cards in whitby, north yorkshire,i decided to treat myself to a new bit of softwear.

I managed to srcape anough money to buy Lightroom 2 and photoshop CS4.

Never used Lightroom or CS4 before so its all new to me!!

This is just a play around shot really using photomatix for the HDR and Lightroom and CS4 for the rest of the image.

Thanks for looking and for all comments and votes on past uploads..

Enjoy your day steve..

Nice picture, the colours are dominating over the composition, if it's permited to say that. But it's looking very good. Smile

About your new software, I think you've made the right choice. You'll discover very soon how much you expand your posibilities and your imagination. Good luck!

It's certainly stunning and colourful, Steve! Maybe not the colours you saw, but it's fun to have a dabble and come up with something different, isn't it? I'm sure you're going to have lots of fun with your new software.

I've used Photoshop day in day out for at least 16 years now - since version 2. And I can honestly say that even in that time, I've never run out of things to learn in it. It's truely bottomless! There's a great temptation when first unleashed on PS to go over the top and over process... but that's all part of the fun! Enjoy.
