Shot against a white card in darkened room and using LED lights focus on the two larger flowers then rotated through 90 Dergrees right and a crayon effect added to colour the white card. One flower singled out and turned to B/W.
Hence the title play time.

Many thanks to all who took time to comment on my last upload i was surprised as it was highly manipulated shot

A most original bit of processing, Graham: I like the final image very much generally, although I'm not so sure about the black and white bloom. I feel I'd have preferred it left as the others. just my opinion and I hope you do not take offence.

Thanks for your PM, Graham, alerting me to Version 2. I have to say I do prefer it......somehow that image is much more pleasing to my eye.
Ronnie.

Beautiful processing, but have to say I don't like the single b&w flower. Definitely V.2 for me. Carol

I agree, I'm not sure about the b/w flower either.......however......I wonder if either the top flower or the one on left hand side might not be a better mono option? To me, the one that is mono at the moment doesn't create a good balance, but that's just my opinion!
I love the full coloured one though, it's really beautiful.

Interesting playing, think I would stay with all the flower coloured or all mono.

Beautiful soft image but I agree that I'm not too keen on the single mono flower, just doesn't seem to blend in too well.

Two excellent & lovely flower image renderings, Graham. I slightly prefer the v1 version. Have a great Weekend.

A lovely composition Graham and well presented however its V2 for me. I just find the B&W flower in V1 distracting and out of place with the others perhaps because it is partially shielded by the yellow flower beside it. You still have a fine shot here.

Cheers,
Joe

I have been hunting for the black flower for the last two minutes !!Smile Shows how much I notice. I really like version 1 but I think that it would be improved with total colour..really interesting though and I always like to see something different !

This is so softly pretty - and as I like different - I will go with V1 I think, or maybe V2, or V1, or V2?Grin....like them both actually.

Have to go with the V2 as the flower in mono (and know how hard and long that would take) distracts from the rest of the bloom, and V2 has an almost like 'tracing paper effect' to it in the presentation, and the framing has set it off so well...so my vote goes to V2 Graham
Lillian
