This would look better with lower light or maybe less strong light. Excellent composition for sure.

Good light/shadow divide on the furrows. Try cropping the top down to the furrows and rotating it 180 degrees.
many thanks for the comments - take them all on board. light was quite strong and i made no adjustments at the time, taken in RAW .i have a few different shots, cropped, angled etc but they were taken too quickly really and i need to invest in a tripod too!! - one of those "turn the car round " moments - maybe go back at the weekend with a picnic ![]()
