I thought I would have a go at a few action shots at a local point-to-point. Any advice would be welcome.

Many thanks for all your comments on the lamb. Very much appreciated.

Excellent detail in this shot. Just wondering if a crop of the left side to put horse and rider on a third and a trim at the top and bottom might bring a little more impact into the image. Just an idea on what is already a very good shot

Three crackers Tress.

This is just my opinion so don't take it to heart. In all shots crop or clone out the fella in the yellow jacket (unless he is riding a Shetland Pony). V2 crop away some of the right of the image.

Well done the faces of the riders are wonderful.

Great shots all. Love the colour in V 3. Cant help thinking however that with a side on view and a carefully selected shutter speed you could have given the impression of speed and movement so much more graphically. The head on shot does tend to freeze the frame solid.
As always I stress this is my personal opinion only and never intended as criticism.

I've taken on board the suggestions from Trev and Ron as V4 and V5. Hope you like the improvements. I couldn't take out the bloke in the yellow jacket on V5 though as I did this at work and only have basic photo manager, so I'll have to pretend he's on a shetland pony! Thanks for the advice guys. Much appreciated. Wink
