What, no flowers!?
Yesterday I went to the South Tyne Traction Engine Rally in Corbridge. Lots of oily fellas and highly primped machines. Beautiful they were....the machines, not the fellas! Great colours, shapes and shiny bits. Reflected in this wheel was a lorry and the steam organ behind.

Nicely observed, I like the way the green reflection is echoed in the rim. Green and grey make a very satisfying balance. Plus there's the effect of flying mud in the air.
Just a thought - flipping vertically would allow us to read Glasgow Aberdeen without getting a headache... Wink

Natural distortions abounding - love the reflections in the wheel-nuts too, echoing the main one. A well-observed detail.

You've a good eye for out of the ordinary photos. Good to see such originality. I hadn't realised the steam rally was on till I saw your photo this morning, so off I went to Corbridge. Thanks to you I'm frazzled, my feet are sore, and I'm cooling off with a beer or two.Smile

Regards,

Jack.
