The pomegranates in my garden are laden with fruit this year, after a year of producing absolutely nothing! The parrots are delighted, they love the seeds, as do I! For those of you who have never tried the seeds, I recommend that you do, I think they are one of the best fruits available at this time of the year.

May you all have a wonderful weekend.

It's a long time since I tried a pomegranate - I could never see what people found good about them. Nicely take, though.

Morning Carol, It looks good enough to eat, wonderful detail, well done.

An attractive and interesting capture Carol. I regularly drink the juice which has a very distinctive flavour. It's supposed to be good for your heart.

I remember eating these as a child with a pin, but haven't had one in years. I'll have to stop at the grocers today, as this one looks very inviting. Trish

Brilliant and what memories they evoke, My Father always used to buy me one when I was small and I picked the seeds out with a pin!
Bet we would not allow our children or grandchildren to do that now!

They look good enough to eat, can you send some over? they are frustrating if you are hungry as you need a pin and can only eat one at a time.

Lovely detailed picture Carol. Actually had a pomegranate but from Tesco's definitely not my garden! Didn't taste anywhere as nice as they used to when I was a child maybe I've run out of patience for eating for with a pin, I'm more into quantity now (unfortunatel).
