The pomegranates in my garden are laden with fruit this year, after a year of producing absolutely nothing! The parrots are delighted, they love the seeds, as do I! For those of you who have never tried the seeds, I recommend that you do, I think they are one of the best fruits available at this time of the year.
May you all have a wonderful weekend.

Morning Carol, It looks good enough to eat, wonderful detail, well done.
Dougie.
I remember eating these as a child with a pin, but haven't had one in years. I'll have to stop at the grocers today, as this one looks very inviting. Trish
Great shot, lovely detail, they make my mouth water.

superbly presented and well framed - never tried Pomegranite but it looks good here
You have certainly evoked some memories in us all with this one Carol if these comments are anything to go by! Trish
Saw these hanging from the trees on Torcello - beautiful colours and textures in this image.

Super image, I agree about eating the real thing. Sylvia
These were an autumn treat when I was young. I think they are a bit like Marmite - you either love or loathe them! Well taken. Sandra
Love the composition Carol, the three seeds are a nice touch to the image. Lovely presentation

Lovely detailed picture Carol. Actually had a pomegranate but from Tesco's definitely not my garden! Didn't taste anywhere as nice as they used to when I was a child maybe I've run out of patience for eating for with a pin, I'm more into quantity now (unfortunatel).

Sorry to say never had it.. but it looks wonderful... terrific shot too...
Pithy and juicy, I remember them well. I like the addition of the little bits of fruit on the outside.
Very interesting subject Carol, never had one of these, but they make a great image.
