I've been practising still life with fruit and vegetables over past couple of weeks.
See my portfolio re advice on lighting as I am no expert.
The pomegranate is a lovely choice for your subject accompanied by the cut figs.
I think I might have placed the left hand figs closer to the pomegranate but in front of part of it.
Overlapping but not touching. Check in lens to see how composition is.
With cut figs you have four items in the image which is one of the hardest numbers to compose.
Try to have an uneven number.
