Part of the River Aven, which runs through Pont Aven, Brittany - and a rather strange statue.
** V2 added with the LHS cropped as suggested by David. I prefer it.**
This is a beautiful image captured so well and presented ,
Delicious mixture of delicate tones and a fine composition too.
Thats France for you! went here many years ago - beautiful place. Nice colourful shot Sandra showing just enough movement in the water. Presume you were standing in the river.
A delightful shot
I love it.
What would have happened if you had cropped a bit tighter on that lovely stone wall, the river and the statue ... and left out a bit of the house on the left?

Looks like the Rust Appreciation Society has reached France!

Thanks, David. Version 2 added.
A charming scene
I liked your original ... but must admit V2 really is first class
I live this site so much because of all the positive feedback
Well worked image.............
What a wonderful place and well captured,,
Wonderful colours Sandra.
Prefer the tighter crop.
Looks to be a very sympathetic renovation. Lovely scene, good crop in v2, and a great little statue. Nicely captured, Sandra.
Both good shots but I think I prefer V2 - Carole
Lovely shot Sandra
I like V1 best
I was thinking---"What a charming place.........'
V2 shows the statue and has increased my admiration for this view!
I think David had a good suggestion. I prefer V2. What a lovely place this is. Well captured by you.
