A night shot stood in the freezing cold outside Caernarfon Castle. The cold was biting at my fingertips and it was a welcome relief to be sat in the warm pub [to the left of the castle] about 15 minutes after this was taken.
It's a location I've often meant to shoot before and being completely honest I think we got there about 30 minutes later than we should have and lost a lot of sky definition. So the exposures were a little longer than I would have liked I meaning I had to hand blend exposures together to maximise the highlights on the castle walls.
The main exposure is a 3 minute one with 2 further exposures of 1 min and 30 secs blended in to maintain the highlight detail.

A place I keep meaning to shoot and when it's done this well it's clear why! Excellent image.
