thank you all for your clicks and comments on sunset 2.
i made it out Monday night and decided a new area was to be explored, went to a beach between Porthcawl and Rest Bay and found lots of puddles with rocks in. unfortunately the tide wasn't high enough so no wave action again.

v1 processed from one shot.
v2 a HDR of three exposures.

tripod and remote release used.

Great shot - I thought v1 was stunning until I saw v2 - the colours are fantastic and I love the green of the seaweed cutting through the sandy browns.

This is so beautiful. I think something in between the two versions would appeal to me, Anthony. That's easily said with the two versions in front of me. I like the vibrancy of V2, but it's such a far cry from V1. Hmmm, on the fence again.

I have to say I prefer the single exposure V1, a much more natural look. V2 is a little oversaturated in the blue and orange but it's down to personal taste at the end of the day!! Regards, Andy
