The Wife and I spent the last week at Durdle Door Holiday Park so I've had many opportunities to get a few photographs.

This was taken from the beach at Durdle Door looking towards Weymouth and Portland, the causeway that connects the two can be seen in the distance.

For this photograph I shot two images, one for the sky and rays and the other for the sea at a slightly longer exposure. They were then blended together in CS5 before further processing.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Have been waiting for these!!! and the wait was worth it. This is nature presented at its best, I love the rays of the sun from the cloud and the lovely orange sky below, it's as if the sun is tantalising the viewer, saying "wait just a little longer".... Great and shortlisted!

You have done a great job on this one Colin. The rays of the sun create wonderful lighting on the clouds. Spot on.
