Posforth Gill is a magnificent waterfall that propels the waters of Barden Fell towards their destination, the River Wharfe. nickname Valley of Desolation set in the grounds of Bolton Abbey estate. I was trying to capture this waterfall in its glory colours of gold anf fast flowing water

Its a very nice scene, but the image has a few issues that can be addressed.
Its underexposed by about 1/3 stop; the white balance is unnaturally warm; the colours are over saturated. At the time of shooting, a +1/3 would have returned a better result. The rest looks like post processing. Its always best to take shots like this in RAW, so you have the maximum flexibility in post processing, - after all, youve gone to a great deal of effort to get the shot, so why not?
Increasing exposure and adjusting white balance resolves quite a bit, and then de saturation, especially blue and cyan help.
There are two large twigs that can also be cloned out to clean up the appearance.
Ive uploaded a mod to show what I mean.
