A Great Tit (Parus major) posing in the garden against a background of golden cupressus hedging with red dogwood branches and pampas grass plumes behind, giving this natural blurred background.

Many thanks for your support of yesterdays upload - always very much appreciated Smile

Superb shot Sylvia. The detail in the plumage is quite outstanding and that BG just gets better and better. Crackerjack shot.

Great detail and a superb background Sylvia.
Might have cropped in a little more to make the perch go all across and to lose the cut end, but thats just a personal preference

Thank you very much everybody for your C&Cs and a special thank you to David (Johnjo58) for his User Award - I really do appreciate it and value it highlySmile

I did consider cropping the image to remove the end of the perch and wish I had done so now - some good advice from Richard and Brian Smile

A grand shot of this great tit Sylvia, the detail and colours in the plumage have been perfectly recorded and I love the natural background colours
