Just back from a trip to Nepal, to Everest base camp. This picture was shot from above Namche Bazar and encorporates the prayer flags that are so abundant in Nepal.

What makes this absolutely stunning and nerve-jangling for me (it is well steep!) is the view of the houses hundreds of feet below. It gives this image a perspective that is, for me, beyond description. Love it.

A friend who had been to India had images of prayer flags,
so was interested in yours.

My parents in law went to Everest base camp(my ma in law made it, my pa in law had to pull up short)...I;m very envious of them..and you.
Fantastic photo, like the choice of aperture to keep the market discernable but not intrusive.
