From a shoot this morning ahead of my first wedding. I think it was Damien Lovegroves book that I read about prewedding shoots being a good idea for various reasons and I can see why now. After a few minutes we had a good re-pore that we can easily pick up again on the couple's big day. The bride was a little nervous about her skin and I hope when she sees the set she will feel more confident after some work in PS. It also helped me to know where I want to photograph them on the day as we shot at the reception venue, a golf club.

All comments very much appreciated.

There is nothing wrong with the future brides skin at all. A good idea well executed.

I Agree With Harrattp. I can't see anything wrong with this photo or the skin. Brilliantly took.

I love this shot, the couple look really happy and natural, the b/w conversion has has just the right effect too, my only point would be to crop a little on the right to match the left.
If you produce shots like this on the wedding day im sure they will be pleased with your work. Also as it your first wedding im sure a few nerves will be setting in, but dont worry the flow will come and any advice you can be sure to get help here on EPZ.

Regards
Mike

Thanks for your comments. I agree the image could do with some cropping to the right.

a lovely shot with happy expressions, you obviously clicked with them
I would be tempted to shave a little off the top whilst you're cropping to reduce the slightly distracting brightness
