This bee was preening itself on a leaf. looks like he`s poking his tongue out at me in V1.. I had to lean over the fence and move a twig out of the way for these one handed macro shots..
Thanks for all the wonderful comments and all the clicks on yesterdays butterfly.. very much appreciated xxxxxx
I`m still having to click and run, I`ve been tidying the place up, even cleaned the cooker ready for parents arrival tomorrow, it took all day cos I was interupted by my addiction to bug hunting with my camera..

A bee - cee dee eee f ghi.....
Great shot.
Version 2 does it for me.
Three marvellous macro shots Bun, the detail is astounding
Paul's been playing with the flicker show, like me, making the bee move by going across the versions. Great shots, Bun, lovely hairy detail and a nice shadow too.
Three great shots Bun, fantastic detail. There's a strange change of white balance between 2 and 3 though, 3 seems to be a bit too yellow.
All three worth the click though.
