Not quite sure which category to put this one I'm afraid! I'd been thinking all day about having a go at photographing some very old pressed flowers.

First attempts tonight using a teeny little lightbox and I'm sufficiently pleased to seriously consider buying a rather larger lightbox and having another go.

This is really different - it's almost like an x-ray. It has a wonderful translucent quality.

Thanks everyone - I'm glad you like it. I feel a series of these pictures coming on though must buy one of those microwave flower presses first to speed the process up!
