I love these bright but short-lived flowers (Rock Rose) and liked the added impact of the sunlight coming through the petals.

This is straight from the camera with just a touch of USM to accomodate the effect of resizing.

I left the spider's webs and bugs to show that it was shot "au-naturel" (and anyway, the petals fall off if you try to titivate them Smile

Camera:Canon EOS 350D
Lens:canon 70-300 IS USM at 300mm
Recording media:ISO 400 for 1/640th sec with f8
