Pretty flower with nice water droplets. the flash has over exposed the flower a little but a nice effort.

as toonman says, overexposure by flash has blow the shot out , the focus is also off as there is no one particuar part of the shot crisp in focus , were you too close ? what equipment and lens are you using >

A bit too close here, Carole, and stepping back would have enabled you to get the whole of the flower in the frame. You chose a pretty specimen with water droplets on it, and it would be worth having another go, without flash. Neither do you want intense sunlight, so choose a time of day when the sun is just sufficient to give detail to your subject without overexposing it.
