The Processional Doors to St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral in Melbourne. These allow the main wooden doors to remain open and welcoming, and also provide protection from the weather and the city noise.
The panel tells the story of St Paul at the moment when he is binded by light on the road to Damascus; traditional iconographic symbols of the four Gospel writers, drawn from the vision of
Ezekiel can be seen - the Lion (St Mark), the Eagle (St John), the Ox (St Luke) and the man (Matthew).
Many thanks, as always, for your time and comments, or for just coming in to look.

Good line out type image where the eye is immediately drawn to the stained glass window, but I also like the way you've captured the glass colours reflecting on the shiny floor......Good impressive piece of work this, my only criticism of it being that if it were mine, I might be inclined to remove the EXIT signs on either side of the image, just an idea of course......Well done....

I agree with Ade, including the removal of the exit signs, but this is a brilliant capture regardless.
Failed again
. Many thanks for the feedback. I thought quite a bit about the 'exit' signs whilst cleaning up some stray bits of light, and decided I would leave them as they were part of the symmetry and added a slightly different dimension on the otherwise dark edges. v2 is the amended version.
Wonderful coloured glass - but its the reflected light that really makes it for me - on the floor and at the sides - excellent capture

Super image Dave... I too like the way the stained glass has been reflected on the floor, which adds another dimension.
The exit lines could have added some dark humour!... Very well done either way![]()
Great shot Dave, Really like the light and colour.
Exit signs don’t bother me, in fact comparing with V2 they seem to balance the image.

St Paul's Anglican Cathedral. V1 shows the exit?. I am guessing you used a small aperture.? but why two. Well done. WesternRed

It's the light and colour that make this special, and of course the symmetry and quality of the image.
