An early upload for me as I'm actually going out for the day! I am however taking two little wooden men with me as well - fingers crossed for some photo ops.
Anyway, just a straightforward Protea today, shot in natural light against the usual black velvet. Slightly cropped, one stray leaf removed and here it is.

you have the art of perfect lighting
- beautifully composed image in enough light to show stunning detail
Nice sense of texture. Did the boys enjoy their day out?! Ali ![]()
Thank you everyone ![]()
Indeed these aren't the easiest of flowers to photograph Helen - however having paid 2 for it I felt I had to try and will continue trying!
Sadly the boys didn't see light of day in the end Ali. The day started bright but by the time I reached my destination the rain had set in and I decided they were best kept in the dry. At least the pony had a lucky escape as I had been planning on using her as a prop!
The only shots taken today were en route - I was a passenger in the car so fortunately was able to dig out the camera to photograph a couple of Lama travelling in a trailer in front of the car
They weren't exactly EPZ standard shots but fun nevertheless.
