While waiting for the trees to get nice, fresh leaves, so I can get the ideal circumstances to use my recent acquisition, a Hoya IR filter, I was getting impatient. And then I saw "All Dressed in Red", in the most recent issue of Black & White Photography (issue no. 45). It ends with this paragraph: "Peter Bargh is editor of www.ephotozine.com, the UK's leading online photography magazine. Why not try this technique and post up your work on ePHOTOzine for comments." (Please note the "for comments"!)
Your wish is my command! So here's a first attempt. Not sure if this was the ideal pic to start with, but I just couldn't wait until I had found the perfect image for it. Just had to try.
I only had the 500 pix version of this image handy, so: sorry - no large pic, this time.
Any and all constructive criticism - and mods - welcome! (Be gentle, it's only a first attempt...)
Thanks for looking!

Ah, okay. I still have a lot to learn about these things - still feel like a stranger in PhotoShop, so much so even that I didn't manage today's Fun Friday mod completely in PS and had to go back to PSP for a few actions there. Oh well, I'll get the hang of it some time.
Thanks for looking!
