Another photo from Puddletopwn Churchyard.
St MARY'S CHURCH stands large as a focal point within the village of Puddletown (known is Hardy's books as the mythical town of Weatherbury).
Ah yes. This is how to create a strong image steeped in history and that most curious part of life...death. These very human monuments are always interesting. I have recently gathered some myself. TG
The differential focus looks look.
Superb shot, excellent detail and dof I like this a lot.
A great monochromatic image.
This is excellent - the focus on a single important detail, the enclosed, private feel.
Well composed and shot, Gareth.
Just a small suggestion: For images with lots of dark at the edges, add a thin grey border to make it stand out from the black background on EPZ.
Hope you don't mind me saying so.
Hi Andrew...that's good advice my mate
...how do I do that please?
Thanks in advance,
Like this one Gareth. Gravestones make for fantastic images, especially old ones.
Superb Gareth, brilliant like this
Well done Gareth, i think your black and white images are coming on a bomb, a striking image, well done mate.

I think I'm preferring mono images at present, & am sterring more & more towards them.
Another super graveyard shot......i quite like shooting graveyards myself lol
Love the differencial focus,nice image.
